Recent development in science and technology has provided a helping hand to those physically challenged people in the form of different hearing enhancement tools for deaf people, vision enhancement technology for blind people, and different audio-vision combinational devices for deaf-blind people. But in the true sense, assistive technologies, that too within budget for deaf-blind people have not been practical at all for many years. In most cases, blind readers access materials using speech output. Speech is not an appropriate access modality for some content such as highly technical texts, music, and graphics, as it does not promote deep understanding. Our device is an electronic device that is connected to a computer and acquires the signal corresponding to the alphabet, digit, or special symbols and displays the corresponding Braille to represent those alphabets, digit, or special symbols.
